Jennifer Lemert, NP, CWOCN-AP

Jennifer Lemert, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, graduated nursing school from University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1991. For 5 years, she worked in Surgical Oncology at the National Institutes of Health, and in emergency departments as temporary nursing staff.  In the mid 1990’s, she was mobilized with the US Public Health Service to Crown Point New Mexico to help respond to the Hanta Virus outbreak.  It was this experience that led her to pursue  her training as a Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Master’s degree in 1997 at Georgetown University. Jennifer has over 7 years experience in general surgery, with previous experience in orthopedic, urgent care, emergency department, and otorhinolaryngology/facial plastic specialty areas. Jennifer is also a Nationally Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) Nurse since completing graduate level coursework with the Cleveland Clinic. She provides initial and ongoing care & education to patients with enteral & urological stomas.  Jennifer is married to Anthony Stein. They have two fantastic boys, Elliot and Colton who all reside in Anchorage.
