MORE ABOUT DR. MORROW-
Dr. David Morrow is originally from Cincinnati, OH and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2000 with a degree in electrical engineering. After working for IBM in Burlington, VT he decided to return to medical school graduating from University of Vermont in 2011. He completed surgical internship and residency at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY, home of the baseball Hall of Fame.
In return for a military scholarship, he entered active duty with the Air Force and served as a general surgeon at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson from 2016-2020. He was excited to stay in Alaska and joined Mat-Su Surgical Associates in 2020. He has broad training and experience in general surgery as well as laparoscopy, robotic surgery, and endoscopy. He was initiated as a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons in the fall of 2020. He and his wife Jen live in Eagle River with daughter Bella and two dogs. They enjoy all the Alaskan outdoor opportunities including hiking, skiing, biking and fishing.
